Personal Information Protection Policy

ESA Inc. (“the Company”) recognizes the importance of protecting personal information as a company providing IT system development and services, and considers the appropriate use of personal information to be a social responsibility. The Company complies with the following Personal Information Protection Policy and promotes business activities that place emphasis on compliance.

1) The Company complies with applicable laws, government guidelines, and other norms and contractual terms concerning the proper handling of personal information.

2) The Company provides ongoing education and awareness activities for all employees so that customers’ personal information is handled appropriately.

3) When collecting personal information, the Company clearly discloses the purpose of use to the individual and collects and uses it within the scope of the individual’s consent and within the scope necessary for the Company’s activities. The Company does not use personal information for any other purpose without the customer’s consent.

4) The Company does not provide personal information to third parties except where required by law or where the individual has consented to such provision.

5) The Company strictly and securely manages collected personal information and works to prevent unauthorized external access, loss, destruction, falsification, and leakage of personal information. Should any issue concerning the management of personal information occur, the Company will promptly implement measures to prevent recurrence.

6) The Company continuously reviews and improves its management systems and measures for the protection of personal information.

Handling of Personal Information

Recognizing the importance of protecting personal information and its appropriate handling as a social responsibility, the Company, as a provider of system development and services, complies with the Personal Information Protection Policy above and promotes corporate activities that place emphasis on compliance.

Management and Disclosure to Third Parties

The Company does not disclose or provide customers’ personal information to third parties without the customer’s consent, except in the following cases.

1) Where required by laws and regulations established by national government agencies or local public bodies.

2) Where there is an urgent need to provide or disclose information to protect life, body, or property, and it is difficult to obtain the individual’s prior consent.

Requests for Correction or Deletion, Complaints and Inquiries

If you have any requests for correction or deletion of personal information held by the Company, or any complaints, inquiries, or other questions, please contact our department at data-protection@esaplus.com.

After confirming the identity of the person making the request, the Company will investigate the facts and respond within a reasonable scope if the content is found to be inaccurate.
